British Formula 3 International Series title contender Jack Harvey has been hit with his second penalty of the weekend at Silverstone.
Harvey, who finished second in race two in his Carlin Dallara-Volkswagen, has had 30 seconds added onto his race time for his collision with Pipo Derani, and for weaving along the start-finish straight to keep the Brazilian behind.
Harvey has also been given a five-place grid demotion for the weekend's third and final race, dropping him from third to eighth in the starting order.
Derani retired as a result of suspension damage sustained in the impact.
The race two penalty drops Harvey to 12th place, although he scores one point for taking 10th in the International Class.
But the net result is that he now falls 16 points behind Derani's Fortec Motorsport team-mate Felix Serralles in the standings.
It also means that Harvey's Carlin team-mate Jazeman Jaafar leapfrogs the Lincolnshire man to take second in the points.
The Malaysian moves up to second in the result of race two, and as a result is just five points behind Serralles.
