Bernie takes fans to the grid

Two lucky Formula One fans will have the chance to join Bernie Ecclestone in rubbing shoulders with the sport's stars thanks to a unique charity auction prize.

Ecclestone is offering two fans the chance to join him for his pre-race grid walk at next month's British Grand Prix.

As well as the pre-race highlight, the auction prize includes private helicopter transfers to and from Silverstone, hospitality in the British Racing Drivers' Club, seats in a private grandstand and VIP passes to the F1 paddock.

The auction is raising money for the Oxford Children's Hospital, a new facility that is being built on the site of the John Radcliffe Hospital.

Details of the auction, which begins at 9am on May 22 and ends at 4pm on June 2, can be found at www.chox.org.uk.
