Yesterday the session was extended by ten minutes because of the red flag caused by Barrichello. Not sure what the plan is yet
Just four minutes left on the clock.
And here comes the first red flag of the day as Kubica stops on the start/finish straight
The session has been stopped.
Felipe Massa, Valencia testing

Felipe Massa, Valencia testing

Into the final ten minutes of the session and only Massa has been able to lap in under 72 seconds.

Buemi improves again and closes in on Barrichello's sixth-quickest time
Kubica makes another improvement - to 1:12.426 - but still stays in fourth
Buemi improves his time in the Toro Rosso, but he is still slowest
The outright lap record at Valencia is still 1:08.540, set by Anthony Davidson back in 2006. 2010 times are still far from that
A massive 112 laps for Kubica so far. 25 minutes left
Massa now out on track too as Kubica moves up to fourth place with the Renault
All drivers except Massa and Buemi are on track now
Alonso spotted in the Ferrari garage
Barrichello has focused only on long runs today
Not many testing days so early in the pre-season finish without a single red flag. Teams have done their homework since November
Kubica returns to the pits after his long run. He has managed 86 laps so far today
Will there be a mad rush of fastest laps now?
Penultimate times update: Massa 1m11.722, Kobayashi 1m12.056; Hamilton 1m12.256; Rosberg 1m12.899; Barrichello 1m13.377; Kubica 1m13.659; Buemi 1m14.862
There was an error with Massa's time, which should be 1:11.722, not 772. Sorry about that
Less than 1.5 hours left today, and Massa's time of 1:11.722 still stands on top
Nico Hulkenberg

Nico Hulkenberg

Meanwhile, Williams's Nico Hulkenberg has been spectating from the infield section of the track.

He will drive the FW32 tomorrow
Very long run. Pit board says 31 laps left for the Pole
Kubica is now the man doing long runs in the Renault
Ferrari reports that "the feeling for the car is great", according to Massa
Quite a few teams hiding their rear diffusers while their cars are pushed back into the pits
Times at 3pm: Massa 1m11.722; Kobayashi 1m12.056; Hamilton 1m12.256; Rosberg 1m12.899; Barrichello 1m13.377; Kubica 1m13.659; Buemi 1m14.862
That number is likely to go up a lot when Alonso shows up tomorrow
Official figures from Valencia say over 7,200 fans attended yesterday's session
Ferrari obviously preparing for the arrival of Fernando Alonso tonight - lots of barriers up to stop the fans crowding its motorhome
Nico Rosberg running in the 1m16s, apparently with a big fuel load onboard

Hamilton busy with a long runs now. Pit board counting him down "L13'
